K&N Typhoon air intake systems improve the performance and torque of your vehicle by replacing the restrictive original filter and the housing with an air-permeable system that is specially tailored to your vehicle. K&N Typhoon intake systems contain an aluminum tube, a K&N high-flow air filter and some versions contain a heat shield that protects against the heat of the engine. The pipes of the Typhoon Air Intakes have a durable coating and the large K&N air filter can be used up to 160,000 km, depending on driving conditions, before it has to be serviced. The air intake systems are quite easy to install; usually within 90 minutes and with conventional hand tools.
